WordCamp Philippines 2008 will be held at St. Benilde in Taft Ave. this coming September 6. It's an event where bloggers meet and discuss various topics revolving Wordpress, an open-source blogging script. Kung blogger kayo, this one is really worth attending.

I never would have imagined it would be this soon..

Things happen in our lives so quick and so drastic. No matter how much we plan our lives, we will always meet difficult decisions in life, in which both answers would not suffice or make us truly happy. Sacrifice is inevitable, tears well up in the face of trial. Yet behind the clouds of sadness, of separation, glimmers a ray of hope.

28 yrs of existence on God's green earth, I have never been sad like this. Excitement kicks in at first because it would be a new experience. But then as the days went by and THE time draws near, sadness ensues. Because for the first time in my life, I will be away from my family, from my friends, from my colleagues, and from the things I love the most- away for a very looooong time. Add to that the anxiety and uncertainty of what awaits me on the other side of the world, it really pains me to say farewell.

A mentor of mine said, "In this world and the next, there are no good byes, there are only 'hellos' and 'c ya laters'".

TO all who have taken part in my life, one way or another, I thank you.

And if one day we meet again, "batiin mo naman ako"! 'cause I give my assurance that if that happens I will surely do the same, maybe even more than that...
